I’m currently in prepro for my short film, The Edge of the World. A woman returns to Nebraska to spread her mother’s ashes on the twentieth anniversary of her death. Written and directed by me.

I recently produced a short film written and directed by Kyle Alex Brett. We were an official selection of the Micheaux Film Festival.
FALL 2020
I’m working on a novel and my one woman show (coming to your Insta Stories THIS DECEMBER). In the meantime, I’ve made my way to TikTok. Follow along if you want some joy!

Shelley and her sister Claire’s web series Dear Sister was accepted into the Austin Comedy Short Film Festival. They’re submitting to many more fests and can’t wait to share it with the world!
WINTER/SPRING 2020
Shelley is in the Broadway National Tour of The Play That Goes Wrong now through May 2020!

MAY:
Shelley performed her solo show, miss america, as a part of The Langston Hughes Playwright Showcase. Presented by i, too arts collective.
MAR:
Shelley and her sister Claire launched a fundraising campaign for their series Dear Sister. They exceeded their goal and are now in pre-production to shoot this summer! Watch the trailer here.
